Stories?

I have never really
Made a story before
That captured imagination
And was solid to the core

A story that I make
Wouldn't have much influence
It never covered all angles
As if the writer was very dense

I've never made a story
That ruptured someone's thinking
My stories are only interesting
In those three seconds between your blinking

Why now? Should I start
This complicated task
Would the spotlight give me attention?
A place to bask?

The prediction of the future
Tells me it might be bad
It IS made by me,
A more than normal lad

Oh well, we'll just see what happens
As I TRY to make this story
Hope it comes out well and productive and great
And never become boring
